Blurred Edges

The Sun’s above me,

shooting arrows of light

As I trudge along,zombie-like,

I catch myself for a second in a mirror

I look  stark, sharp

the world around me

exalting its brilliance…

I think back to all those foggy pictures

of childhood,

when not moving was hell,

even those lines of amateur poems I wrote

were full of vigour.

Now,when I am distinct,

my absence louder than presence,

I wish to blur…
